I map body part radio frequency radiation (RFR) using Lorenzo Luini's Applet for Electromagnetic Plane Wave Propagation running on MatLab, which models penetration/reflection & absorption of specific frequency channels for a particular body part with its various layers. Further, using an individual’s unique dielectric tissue layer characteristics derived from their own MRI data; coupled with my unique analysis of their dwelling’s RFR and its own layers, dielectrics, conduction, penetration, reflection, and absorption of specific frequency channels & power measured onsite; I can make an accurate, customized, location specific assessment of any RFR they are exposed to. Please note: this is a personalized layered tissue/dwelling approach with a specific incident angle from a specific transmitter’s frequency & power at the antenna and not just a measure of strictly thermal absorption in averaged dielectric fluid using a model of a large 6’2” male weighing 220 lbs. in an anechoic test lab - most likely how this FCC SAR (near field) testing is implemented today.
While I can make a reasonable estimate of the RF exposure to the body part, using only remote web based information and the location of all RFR devices and wiring/metal in the occupant’s space, an onsite evaluation approach is more accurate. This because it is essential to access what radiation your body part's unique antenna is actually receiving at its surface in order to make a more accurate model, thereby including the reception all local antennas’ characteristics in the equations. A graphic illustration of the possibility of this antenna gain comes by realizing that bones are conductive enough to create the low 50 ohm standard antenna impedance and further that any rib cage, foot, or hand actually creates a multi-element antenna – remember seeing ubiquitous TV roof-top aerials not so long ago?--(travel @$50/hr. and on site hourly costs charged @$75/hr. Plus gas and/or data costs at cost).
Alternatively I can either remotely (or even better, on-site) model MPE (maximum permissible exposure) of to 18 mobile/portable device’s antennas in your home and/or office rooms up to 270 sq.’ from the precise locations of antennas using the FCC id numbers for tested power output and antenna gain using enhanced proprietary software approved by the FCC. This is an enhanced version of the same software made available to approved testing laboratories (TCBs) achieved by adding 12 transmitters and 260 sq.’ to the test area for added capability. Please note for this to be a remote only service, it will require a detailed set of building plans including building materials/dimensions with the exact location of wires, outlets, & transmitter antennas. This is applicable for anybody for the purposes of determining FCC device compliance remotely, thereby saving expensive travel costs.
